Exe Valley Garden

The brief for this project was to transform a previously featureless lawn into an inspiring garden that harmonises with and complements the historic property at its centre.

The design introduced a generous, naturalistic pond that attracts a variety of wildlife, and a timber viewing deck. We added a custom rose arch and a summerhouse, both inspired by the proportions and materials of the main house. Alongside the hard landscaping we introduced an array of specimen trees to provide structure, scale and visual focus. Carefully planned flower beds were planted to offer layered interest, seasonal succession and enduring character that enhances the garden throughout the year.
